Job Description Executive / Sr. Executive – CAPEX Purchase

Position Summary

Grauer & Weil (India) Limited is looking for an Executive / Sr. Executive – CAPEX Purchase to manage engineering procurement for plant expansion projects, capital equipment, and machinery.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end CAPEX procurement for plant machinery, capital equipment, and engineering projects.
- Float RFQs, obtain techno-commercial quotations, and prepare Comparative Statements (CSQ).
- Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, and Plant teams for technical evaluations and approvals.
- Negotiate with vendors and release Purchase Orders (PO) through SAP MM.
- Track manufacturing progress, delivery schedules, and vendor performance.
- Coordinate vendor payments, ABG/PBG documentation, and maintain procurement MIS.
- Ensure timely procurement while optimizing cost, quality, and project timelines.

Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory)
- MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain or Materials Management is preferred.





Experience

- 3–8 years of experience in Engineering Purchase/CAPEX Procurement.
- Experience in procurement of capital equipment, plant machinery, engineering items, and project materials.
- Experience in manufacturing, chemical, engineering, or capital equipment industries is preferred.
