- Position Overview:
- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our Human Resources team.
- The HRBP will act as a strategic partner to business leaders, especially within the Technology/Engineering function, driving people strategies aligned with business goals.
- The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a fast-paced startup environment, preferably supporting tech teams, and will bring strong expertise in talent management, employee relations, performance management, and organisational development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with business leaders, particularly within the Tech/Engineering department, to understand business objectives and design HR strategies aligned with organisational goals.
- Provide guidance and support on HR policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance and consistency.
- Drive end-to-end talent management initiatives, including workforce planning, hiring strategy, onboarding, and retention.
- Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees on performance management, conflict resolution, employee engagement, and career development.
- Manage and monitor PIP (Performance Improvement Plan) tracker, ensuring structured documentation, milestones,
and performance progress tracking.
- Drive retention strategies and maintain a retention tracker to analyse trends and proactively address attrition risks.
- Analyse HR metrics and trends to recommend data-driven solutions for organisational effectiveness.
- Organise and execute employee engagement and culture-building initiatives to enhance morale and workplace satisfaction.
- Act as the Mediclaim SPOC, managing Group Mediclaim and Group Health Insurance processes, coordinating with stakeholders, and maintaining an up-to-date insurance tracker.
- Issue bonafide letters and maintain accurate employee records within HR tracking systems.
- Lead and support HR projects aimed at continuous improvement of HR processes and practices.
- Promote an inclusive, ethical, and high-performance culture across teams.
Qualifications & Required Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Masters degree and/or HR certifications preferred).
- 2+ years of progressive HR experience, with hands-on experience as an HRBP.
- Mandatory experience in a startup environment.
- Experience partnering with and supporting Technology/Engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of employment laws, HR compliance, and HR best practices.
- Proven ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting HR metrics and implementing data-driven solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
