Job Description Vice President – Investor Relations (Real Estate)

Position: Vice President – Investor Relations

Department: Investments / Capital Raising

Reporting To: Managing Director / CEO

Role Summary

The Vice President – Investor Relations is responsible for leading the organization's investor relations and capital-raising strategy. The role focuses on developing long-term relationships with High Net Worth Individuals (HNIs), Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNIs), family offices, institutional investors, and strategic partners to secure investments for the company's real estate projects and investment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

Develop and execute the investor relations and fundraising strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives.

Lead capital raising initiatives for residential, commercial, retail, and mixed-use real estate projects.

Build a sustainable pipeline of prospective investors and investment partners.

Identify new fundraising opportunities through strategic alliances and market intelligence.

Investor Relationship Management

Develop and nurture relationships with HNIs, UHNIs, family offices, private equity funds, NBFCs, banks, and institutional investors.

Conduct investor presentations, investment roadshows, and one-on-one meetings.

Ensure timely communication with investors regarding project progress, returns, and business performance.

Maintain long-term investor engagement and retention.

Fundraising & Investments

Lead end-to-end fundraising activities from investor identification to deal closure.

Structure investment opportunities in coordination with finance, legal, and project teams.

Negotiate commercial terms and investment agreements.

Monitor fundraising targets and investment inflows.

Team Leadership

Lead, mentor, and develop the Investor Relations team.





Establish KPIs and monitor team performance.

Foster collaboration with Sales, Finance, Legal, Marketing, and Project teams.

Governance & Reporting

Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and contractual requirements.

Prepare MIS reports, fundraising dashboards, and investor updates for senior management.

Represent the organization at investor forums, industry events, and conferences.

Qualifications

MBA in Finance, Marketing, or a related discipline (preferred).

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Experience

12–18 years of experience in investor relations, fundraising, private equity, wealth management, investment banking, or real estate investments.

At least 5 years in a leadership role managing investor relationships and capital raising.

Key Skills

Solid network with HNIs, UHNIs, family offices, institutional investors, and financial institutions.

Expertise in fundraising, investment structuring, and deal negotiations.

Deep understanding of the real estate industry and investment products.

Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Strong financial analysis, presentation, and negotiation capabilities.

Achievement of annual fundraising and capital deployment targets.

Number and value of investments secured.
