Senior Manager - Project Execution
Locations-Mumbai

Key Purpose of the Role-
To lead and manage end-to-end execution of large residential construction projects by ensuring timely delivery within approved cost, quality, and safety parameters. The role is responsible for strategic planning, execution leadership, contractor performance management, stakeholder coordination, risk mitigation, and mentoring the project execution team while driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities-
Project Leadership
Lead complete execution of residential projects from mobilization to handover.
Develop execution strategies aligned with project objectives.
Drive project delivery within approved budget, quality, and timelines.
Monitor project performance through milestone tracking and corrective actions.
Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
Execution Management
Direct and monitor execution activities across structural, architectural, MEP coordination, and finishing works.
Ensure adherence to approved construction methodologies, specifications, and statutory requirements.
Review construction schedules and optimize resource utilization.
Resolve complex technical and execution challenges.
Drive productivity improvements across all contractors.
Contractor & Stakeholder Management
Lead contractor performance reviews.
Coordinate with architects, consultants, procurement, QA/QC, planning, and commercial teams.
Review contractor billing, measurements, and work certifications.
Ensure timely availability of construction materials and resources.




Maintain strong relationships with consultants, vendors, and statutory authorities.
Cost & Resource Management
Monitor project cost against approved budgets.
Optimize material utilization and reduce wastage.
Review procurement plans and inventory management.
Ensure effective manpower deployment.
Support commercial team in cost control initiatives.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
Ensure strict implementation of QA/QC systems.
Drive zero-defect construction practices.
Ensure compliance with EHS standards and statutory regulations.
Monitor quality audits and implement preventive and corrective actions.
Promote a strong safety culture across project sites.
Reporting & Governance
Review daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports.
Present project updates to senior management.
Monitor KPIs related to cost, quality, productivity, and timelines.
Drive digital reporting and project MIS accuracy.
People Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop project engineers and execution teams.
Build high-performing site teams.
Conduct technical reviews and capability development sessions.
Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams.
Continuous Improvement




Drive adoption of recent construction technologies and digital tools.
Standardize execution methodologies.
Implement best practices to improve efficiency and quality.
Lead value engineering initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile-
Qualification
BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering
Experience
10-15 years of experience in residential real estate construction.
Must have independently led and delivered multiple residential projects from inception to handover.
Proven experience in managing large project teams and multiple contractors.
