Role Overview

We are looking for a disciplined, process-driven, and accountable Warehouse / Stores Manager to independently manage end-to-end warehouse operations within a compact setup.

While daily inward and outward movement may not always be high-volume, the role requires readiness to handle periods of heavy stock movement efficiently and without operational disruption.

This role demands solid operational control, strict inventory accuracy, dispatch discipline, and structured coordination with internal teams and logistics partners. The individual must ensure zero stock discrepancies, timely dispatches, and complete system visibility across all inventory movement.

Candidates with experience in dark stores, quick commerce, D2C warehouse, or fulfilment operations are encouraged to apply.

This is a hands-on role requiring daily operational presence and structured reporting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory Control & Accuracy

- Maintain real-time, system-updated inventory records at all times
- Maintain photo documentation of all inventory inside the designated software/system
- Ensure each SKU is properly photographed and updated for tracking and audit reference
- Conduct scheduled and surprise physical stock audits
- Ensure zero unexplained stock variance
- Implement and enforce inventory control processes
- Track slow-moving, fast-moving, and dead stock

2. Receiving, Storage & Dispatch Operations

- Oversee inward receipt verification against purchase documents
- Ensure proper GRN documentation and system entry on the same day




- Ensure correct bin allocation, labeling, and storage discipline
- Supervise accurate order picking, packing, and dispatch
- Ensure dispatches are completed within defined timelines
- Maintain proper documentation for all outward movement
- Be prepared to manage high-volume movement during peak dispatch cycles

3. E-commerce / Fulfilment Operations (If Applicable)

- Ensure timely order processing as per defined SLA
- Monitor order accuracy and minimize dispatch errors
- Manage returns and reverse logistics with full reconciliation
- Track courier performance and escalate delays proactively

4. Warehouse Discipline & Space Optimization

- Optimize warehouse layout for maximum space utilization
- Maintain structured rack labeling and SKU segregation
- Ensure no clutter, unaccounted stock, or misplacement
- Maintain hygiene and operational discipline at all times
- Ensure warehouse remains odor-free, clean, and professionally maintained

5. Compliance, Safety & Asset Care

- Ensure safe handling and storage of goods
- Prevent product damage through proper stacking and movement
- Maintain full inward/outward compliance documentation
- Ensure no unauthorized movement of goods

6. Reporting & Visibility

- Submit daily stock summary report
- Submit weekly inventory movement and variance report




- Highlight stock risks, shortages, or discrepancies immediately
- Maintain complete transparency on stock position and movement
- Ensure system data and physical stock are always aligned

7. Systems & Technology

- Operate ERP / WMS / Inventory Management System accurately
- Ensure all entries are updated on the same day
- Maintain photo-based inventory records in the system
- No manual adjustments without prior approval and proper documentation

Candidate Profile

- 6+ years of relevant warehouse/store management experience
- Experience in E-commerce / D2C / Quick Commerce fulfilment preferred
- Comfortable managing a compact warehouse independently
- Strong operational discipline and accountability mindset
