Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks from scratch.
- Lead automation initiatives across Web, Mobile, and API testing.
- Build and execute automated test suites using modern automation tools and best practices like playwright
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers on automation standards, coding practices, and testing strategies.
- Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Owners, and DevOps teams for quality assurance throughout the SDLC.
- Perform functional, regression, sanity, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines and ensure continuous quality delivery.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes, and provide detailed defect reports.
- Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, estimations, and risk assessments.
- Drive process improvements and introduce innovative testing approaches/tools.

Mandatory Skill Sets:

- Strong hands-on experience in Playwright Automation Framework.
- Proficiency in Java and TypeScript.
- Strong experience in API Testing using tools/frameworks like Postman, Rest Assured, or equivalent.
- Experience in Mobile Testing (Android/iOS) using Appium or similar tools.
- Experience in APM Monitoring/Observability tools (such as Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics, Grafana, etc.).




- Ability to create and maintain hybrid/framework-driven automation architecture.
- Strong understanding of test design patterns, reusable utilities, and reporting frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Valuable knowledge of Git/version control systems.
- Strong debugging and analytical skills.

Preferred/Additional Skills:

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of performance testing basics is an added advantage.
- Exposure to cloud platforms and containerized environments is preferred.
- Database testing knowledge (SQL queries, validations, data verification).
- Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and production validation approaches.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to independently handle deliverables and drive quality ownership.
- 5 plus years of experience

- Candidate should be capable of independently building automation frameworks from scratch.
- Should take ownership of automation strategy and implementation.
- Must be able to mentor junior team members and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Should proactively identify quality gaps and propose automation/process improvements.
