Role & responsibilities

Infrastructure Monitoring & Operations

- Monitor the health, performance, and availability of local infrastructure services
- Respond to infrastructure alerts & disruptions in accordance with operational procedures
- Perform initial troubleshooting of incidents affecting network & end-user service.
- Escalate incidents to appropriate engineering teams whilst ensuring accurate handover and communication.

Network Operations

Perform first-line monitoring and support of:

- LAN and WAN connectivity, Internet services, Office networking equipment including UPS and Air conditioning, VPN connectivity
- Wireless networks, Local Server hosting hardware. Investigate network performance and connectivity issues
- Escalate routing, switching, firewall, and carrier-related issues to senior network engineers
- Monitor availability of Microsoft 365 services in general and to the Mumbai office
- Assist with user access,



connectivity, and authentication issues
- Escalate complex issues to Infrastructure and Network Engineering teams
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve recurring incidents
- Maintain accurate incident, request, and change records within the ITSM platform
- Participate in shift handovers and knowledge-sharing activities
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with operational standards and security policies.

Preferred candidate profile

Cisco Switching, Wireless network configurations, VPN Technologies, Internet Connectivity Services, Network Monitoring Platforms, Infrastructure & Office 365 connectivity, Windows Server Environments, VMWare basic operations, Operational backup tasks
