About the Role

The Commercial Interior Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and delivering creative

commercial interior spaces that align with client requirements, business objectives, and Bonito's design standards.

The role requires a strong balance of creativity, technical expertise, and commercial understanding to create

functional, aesthetically appealing, and execution-ready designs. The designer will work closely with clients and cross-

functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery from concept to execution.

Your Key Responsibilities

Design Concept & Space Planning

- Develop innovative and functional design concepts for commercial interior projects.
- Prepare space planning layouts, mood boards, design presentations, and material palettes.
- Translate client requirements into creative and practical design solutions.
- Ensure designs align with project budgets, timelines, and operational requirements.

Design Development

- Prepare detailed working drawings, elevations, sections, and construction documentation.
- Develop furniture layouts, lighting plans, ceiling plans, and material specifications.• Ensure all designs are technically feasible and execution-ready.
- Coordinate design revisions based on client feedback while maintaining design integrity.

Client Engagement

- Conduct client meetings to understand project requirements and business needs.
- Present design concepts, layouts, and 3D visualizations to clients.
- Guide clients through design decisions, material selections, and value engineering options.




- Build strong client relationships to enhance satisfaction and project success.

Project Coordination

- Collaborate with Project Managers, Site Execution teams, Procurement, and Vendors throughout the project

lifecycle.

- Conduct site visits to ensure execution aligns with approved designs.
- Resolve design-related challenges during execution.
- Support timely project completion through proactive coordination.

Design Quality & Innovation

- Ensure all designs meet Bonito's quality standards and brand guidelines.
- Stay updated with emerging design trends, workplace strategies, materials, and technologies.
- Recommend innovative products, finishes, and sustainable design solutions.
- Continuously improve design processes and documentation standards.

Performance & Metrics

- Track and improve key performance indicators including:
- Design Approval Timelines
- First-Time-Right Designs
- Client Satisfaction (CSAT)
- Design Revision Percentage
- Project Delivery Timelines
- Design Quality Scores
- Maintain complete project documentation and design records.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Partner with Sales, Design, Procurement, Project Management, and Execution teams.
- Ensure seamless transition from design development to project execution.




- Support value engineering initiatives without compromising design quality or client expectations.

Experience & Education

- Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.• Minimum 8 years of experience in commercial interior design.
- Experience in designing offices, retail spaces, hospitality, healthcare, or other commercial environments is

preferred.

- Strong understanding of space planning, building services, materials, furniture systems, and construction

detailing.

- Proven experience managing multiple commercial design projects simultaneously.
