- We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to design, enhance, and scale our web-based platform (Genesis Portal) focused on customer onboarding, engineering workflows, EPC integrations, and regulatory automation.
- This role will involve building API/webhook integrations, improving portal UI/UX, implementing role-based access, enabling billing and subscription workflows, and supporting development of an AHJ & Utility requirements database with automated updates.

Key Responsibilities

1) API & Webhook Integrations Develop and maintain inward/outward APIs for integration with EPC software, CRM tools, and external systems.

- Build customizable endpoints to restrict and control data flow between different EPCs.
- Implement secure API authentication using OAuth2/JWT and best security practices.
- Ensure robust API logging, error handling, and monitoring.

2) Portal Enhancement (Customer + Engineering + Admin) Improve portal UI/UX to reduce clicks, simplify intake, and enhance user experience.

- Fix existing bugs and known issues in the current portal.
- Build an Admin module to onboard EPCs, manage inputs, and control platform settings.
- Implement role-based user accounts (Admin, Finance, IT, Engineering, External Client, etc.) with different rights.

3) Billing, Payments & Reports Develop billing, invoicing, and subscription workflows including: buying credits payments transaction tracking Generate operational, analytics, and financial reports with Excel export (XLS/XLSX).

4) Automation & Integrations Improve site location capture and automate mapping workflows using Google Maps API or other third-party services.

Site map Vicinity map Cover map Implement workflow notifications via email + in-platform alerts for internal and external users.

5) AHJ & Utility Requirements Database (Phase I) Support development of a scalable database for AHJ and Utility requirements.

- Implement structured data storage and retrieval based on: zip code county/township jurisdiction rules Work on automation mechanisms for: scraping / data extraction from government websites keeping requirements updated Build APIs for internal use and external subscription clients.

6) Code Quality & Scalability Write clean, modular, scalable code designed for future enhancements.

- Implement unit tests and maintain code quality through reviews and testing.
- Ensure system is production-ready with performance and security best practices.

Required Skills

- 3+ years of experience in Full Stack Development
- Strong knowledge of: React.js / Next.js Node.js / Express.js OR Python (Django/FastAPI)
- Experience building and integrating: REST APIs Webhooks third-party integrations
- Strong understanding of: authentication (OAuth2, JWT) Role Based Access Control (RBAC) Database experience: PostgreSQL / MySQL (preferred) MongoDB (optional)
- Experience with cloud deployment: AWS / Azure / GCP Familiar with Git, CI/CD, and DevOps basics 3+ years of experience in Full Stack Development Strong knowledge of: React.js / Next.js Node.js / Express.js OR Python (Django/FastAPI)
