Role & responsibilities

- Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Identify, qualify, and develop strategic suppliers.
- Build and manage supplier networks across India, China, and other strategic regions.
- Lead supplier selection, RFQs, and commercial negotiations.
- Drive supplier performance in quality, delivery, cost, and innovation.
- Conduct supplier audits and performance reviews.
- Implement cost reduction and value engineering initiatives.
- Monitor market trends, raw material movements, and supply risks.
- Develop dual sourcing and risk mitigation strategies.
- Support new product development and industrialization projects.
- Collaborate with Engineering, R&D;, Operations, Quality, and Sales teams.

Preferred candidate profile





- Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of strategic sourcing experience in manufacturing industries.
- Robust negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Experience working with suppliers in India and China.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Willingness to travel within India and internationally.
