As required need to do painting in Chakan Pune plant.

The candidate need to know following aspects of painting process.

1. What parameters to be kept to ensure good quality painting
2. Varity of masking methods
3. Various methods of surface preparation for Carbon Steel, Aluminium and Stainless Steel
4. What climatic conditions should be while surface preparation and while painting?
5. What should be air quality while painting?
6. How to know that surface preparation is done well?
7. Purpose of Primer coat and Paint coat
8. What precautions to be taken while paint preparation before spraying the primer or paint?
9. How to ensure painting is adequately done in the in-accessible areas?
10. How to ensure sharp edges/ corners are well painted?
11. How the paints are cured? Different types of paints?
12. How the paint gloss can be improved?
13. What to check to know painting quality is good?
14. What to record, to show auditor the painting is done properly?
15. In case of damage to paint film, how to correct the same, so that it will look good and merge with nearby painted area.
16. What are various paint defects,

17. What is paint shelf life and why it is important to monitor? How to ensure paint is used within shelf life?
18. How to reduce the paint cost?
19. What PPE to be used while painting and why?
