Designation: Assistant Manager - Product Pricing and Reinsurance
Location: Corporate Office - Goregaon - Mumbai
Work Experience: 1 - 4 years of experience in the Life Insurance Industry, preferably in Group Business, Product Pricing, Actuarial functions, UAT, or System Testing.
Qualification: Graduate / Master's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Finance or related disciplines.
4-5 actuarial papers cleared
What are your roles and responsibilities
Group Pricing Quotation Support
- Prepare and deliver competitive Group Insurance quotations based on client requirements and business objectives.
- Analyze scheme specifications, benefit structures, and risk profiles to derive appropriate pricing recommendations.
- Ensure timely turnaround of quotations while maintaining pricing accuracy and profitability.
Reinsurance Management
- Coordinate with reinsurers for obtaining competitive reinsurance terms, rates, and conditions.
- Support negotiations and maintain effective relationships with reinsurance partners.
- Assist in evaluating reinsurance arrangements from both pricing and risk management perspectives.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Execute UAT for new product launches, enhancements, and system changes across LifeAsia, GroupAsia, Renova, and other related platforms.
- Validate premium calculations, claim calculations, underwriting rules, and policy administration functionalities.
- Document test scenarios, test cases, results, defects, and closure reports.
- Work closely with Business, IT, Operations, and Vendors to ensure successful implementation of changes.
Product Monitoring Analysis
- Monitor the performance and profitability of group products through periodic analysis.
- Identify pricing trends, emerging risks, and areas for process improvement.
- Prepare analytical reports and recommendations for management review.
Documentation Governance
- Maintain accurate documentation of pricing models, UAT results, process notes, and project deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and actuarial standards.
