Job Description -

The SAP SLT (SAP Landscape Transformation) Consultant is responsible for designing, configuring, and managing realtime and scheduled data replication between SAP and nonSAP systems using SAP SLT Replication Server. The role involves deep technical expertise in SLT architecture, data provisioning, replication monitoring, transformations, and integration with SAP HANA, SAP S/4HANA, and other target systems.
Key Responsibilities :

1. SLT Configuration & Setup.
Install, configure, and manage the SAP SLT Replication Server.
Set up connections between source systems (SAP ECC/S/4HANA or NonSAP) and target systems (SAP HANA, BW, BTP, etc.).
Perform initial load and delta load configurations.
2. Data Replication & Monitoring.
Monitor realtime data replication and troubleshoot replication issues.
Handle SLT triggers, logging tables, and performance optimization.
Manage data transformation, filtering, and mapping as per business requirements.
3. System Integration.
Work on integration scenarios between SAP and nonSAP data sources using SLT.
Collaborate with Basis, HANA, BW, and application teams for endtoend data flow.
Support HANA modelling teams with data provisioning via SLT.
4. Issue Resolution & Performance Tuning.
Diagnose and resolve replication failures, performance bottlenecks, and system conflicts.
Optimize SLT configuration parameters, triggers, and replication jobs for stability and speed.
Ensure data consistency and integrity in replicated environments.
5. Change Management & Documentation.
Document SLT architecture,



configurations, and replication flows.
Support transports, configuration changes, and release processes.
Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for SLT operations.
6. Stakeholder Collaboration.
Liaise with business, technical teams, and project managers to gather replication requirements.
Provide recommendations on best practices for SLT setup and data provisioning.
Support planning and execution of cutover & golive activities.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 510+ years of SAP experience, with at least 3+ years specifically in SAP SLT.
- Strong understanding of SLT architecture, replication concepts, triggers, and logging tables.
- Experience in SLT integration with SAP HANA, BW, S/4HANA, or thirdparty systems.
- Robust SQL, data analysis, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with SAP Basis, SAP HANA Studio, and transport procedures (preferred).
- Good understanding of data migration and realtime provisioning concepts.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in complex multisource or multitarget SLT environments.
- Exposure to SAP BTP, SDI/SDQ/ETL tools, or SAP Data Services.
- Knowledge of HANA modelling (views, schemas, tables).
- SAP certifications related to HANA or integration are an advantage.
