PositionSummary

IPE Globalis seeking an experienced Monitoring and MIS Manager for an innovativefive-year project aimed at enhancing the delivery of vocational education inschools across the state, with the core objective of improving studentretention. The role will involve reviewing government data systems, trackingprogress, measuring outcomes, generating evidence, and embedding learnings toensure data-driven decision-making.

KeyResponsibilities

- Reviewexisting state government data systems on vocational education in schools,skilling and placements and co-create Vocational KPIs for state-leveldashboard.

- Compile andcollate education-related data on enrolment, transition, retention etc. tocreate regular projections and forecasts for the state.

- Supportstrengthening of state-level MIS and dashboards for tracking comprehensive VEand skilling outcomes, ensuring gender-disaggregation of results.





- Contextualisenational reporting and performance frameworks as per state requirements

- Preparehigh-quality analytical reports for reporting.

- Superviseand conduct studies/surveys for assessing project progress along with theNational MEL Expert.

As jobdescriptions cannot be exhaustive, the incumbent may be required to undertakeother duties that are broadly in line with the above key responsibilities, asper project needs.

QualificationExperience

EducationalBackground

- At least agraduate degree in Social Studies, Economics, Statistics, Development Studiesor other relevant disciplines. Certification in data management/analysis isdesirable.

- Significantpractical experience is highly valued, and experience of at least 10 years inhandling large-scale data management projects may be accepted in place of adegree.

WorkExperience:

- At leastsix (6) years of relevant work experience in MEL of education programmes with agender focus. Experience in monitoring and evaluating vocationaleducation/skilling programmes is desirable.

- Provenunderstanding of statistics and econometrics, sampling, data visualisation,statistical software, research techniques and designs.

- Strongunderstanding of government data systems used in education (like NE, andnational and state frameworks guiding vocational education in schools) will bepreferred.

- Datainterpretation and analytical thinking : Solid data interpretation skills,academic content decoding, and evidence-based decision-making.

- Highattention to quality and detail : Demonstrated ability to ensure data accuracyand consistency across tools and reports.

- Datavisualisation abilities : Strong data visualisation for presentations, graphsand reports.
