Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Migration Specialist to support higher education clients by migrating legacy student and admissions data into the Element451 CRM platform. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in data migration, data mapping, data validation, and CRM implementations.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute end-to-end data migration projects into Element451.
- Extract, clean, transform, and validate data from legacy systems.
- Prepare and map CSV/TXT data files for import.
- Configure and execute data imports while ensuring data accuracy.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and de-duplication.
- Create mapping templates and migration documentation.
- Support go-live activities and post-migration data updates.
- Collaborate with project managers and client stakeholders throughout the migration lifecycle.
- Required Skills

- 5-8 years of experience in Data Migration, Data Integration, or CRM Implementation.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets
- CSV data handling
- SQL and/or Python





- Positive understanding of:

- Data mapping
- Data transformation
- Relational databases
- Data quality and validation
- Record matching & de-duplication

- Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Higher Education CRM is highly preferred.
- Experience with Higher Education CRM/SIS platforms such as:
- Slate
- Salesforce Education Cloud
- Ellucian
- Anthology/Campus Nexus
- PeopleSoft
- Workday Student

- Knowledge of Higher Education admissions and student lifecycle processes.
- Experience with reusable import/export templates and API-based data migrations.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to manage multiple migration projects independently.
- Comfortable working directly with US-based clients.
- Experience in Higher Education technology projects is a strong advantage.
