Business Finance Partner Brand / E-commerce

Direct Reporting to: Business Finance Leader

Functional Reporting: Business Leaders

Role Purpose

The Business Finance Partner is the embedded finance owner for the assigned

brand or channel, responsible for enabling profitable growth through proactive

decision support, performance management, and disciplined execution—while

feeding robust inputs into the country-level view.

Key Responsibilities

Brand / Channel Financial Ownership

• Own end-to-end financial performance of the assigned brand or channel

• Be the first point of insight and escalation on:

- Sales and margin risks
- Cost deviations
- Inventory ageing
- Investment returns

Planning & Forecasting

• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and rolling outlooks

• Ensure assumptions are realistic, defendable, and aligned with country plans

• Support annual planning led by the Head – Business Finance

Business Decision Support

• Partner with business heads on pricing, promotions, markdowns, and

initiatives

• Quantify financial impact and trade-offs clearly





• Move beyond hindsight reporting to forward-looking insights

Governance & Controls

• Balance growth ambition with margin, cash, and compliance discipline• Work closely with Accounting & Controlling to ensure accuracy and closure

• Escalate risks early with solution-oriented recommendations

Success Measures

• Business leaders actively seek finance input before decisions

• Forecast accuracy and issue anticipation improve

• Clean, reconciled numbers at brand and country level

Experience & Qualification Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in Business Finance / Commercial Finance / FP&A;

roles

(Retail, fashion, consumer, or e-commerce experience strongly preferred)

• Prior experience partnering directly with business leaders (Sales,

Merchandising, Marketing, Operations)

• Strong grounding in:

- P&L; management
- Gross margin and cost structures
- Inventory and working capital mechanics

• Skilled qualification (CA / MBA or equivalent) preferred
