WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Own the data function end-to-end — from architecture and pipelines to analytics and reporting, built for scale from day one
- Set the data strategy for a startup backed by two of the world's most powerful logistics and energy ecosystems
- Build and lead a lean, high-caliber data team as the company scales — hiring, mentoring, and setting the bar
- Turn billions of freight, fuel, and supply chain data points into insights that shape product, pricing, and operations
- Partner directly with founders and CXOs to embed data into every major business decision
- Design the analytics and BI infrastructure — dashboards, KPIs, and self-serve tools that scale with the business
- Build predictive and prescriptive models for logistics cost optimization, emissions benchmarking, and route intelligence
- Establish data governance, quality,



and security standards appropriate for a company operating with global enterprise partners
- Translate data into revenue — identify new product lines, growth levers, and market opportunities hidden in the data

REQUIREMENTS

- 5–10+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or data leadership roles, ideally with some experience in startups, logistics, supply chain, or energy
- Proven experience building or scaling a data function — not just working within one
- Strong hands-on expertise in SQL, Python, and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau); experience with up-to-date data stacks (cloud warehouses, ETL/ELT tools) is a strong plus
- Experience with predictive modeling, forecasting, or optimization in a business context
- Comfortable being both hands-on and strategic — this role spans individual contribution and leadership
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's in a quantitative field (Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Analytics) preferred
- Prior experience in logistics, supply chain, freight, or energy is highly valued — passion and aptitude count just as much
- Founder mentality: comfortable with ambiguity, resourceful, and driven by ownership rather than instruction
