Sales Coordinator Modern Trade (D-Mart & Reliance)

Job Purpose

To support Modern Trade business operations for key accounts such as D-Mart and

Reliance by ensuring smooth order processing, supply coordination, MIS reporting, claims

management, stock availability, and timely execution of commercial activities to achieve

business targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with D-Mart and Reliance category teams, DCs, depots, distributors, and

internal sales teams for seamless order execution.

• Manage Purchase Orders (PO), order processing, dispatch planning, and timely supply

execution as per customer requirements.

• Track pending POs, replenishment requirements, stock availability, and follow up for

closures to avoid stock gaps.

• Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly sales MIS, primary & secondary sales reports, stock

reports, and business trackers.

• Coordinate listing of current SKUs, product launches, chain offers, schemes and across D-

Mart & Reliance stores/DCs.

• Manage pricing, commercial agreements, debit notes, Dstributor claim follow-ups.

• Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, supply chain, and accounts teams to ensure timely

dispatches and smooth supply operations.

• Maintain SKU-wise stock trackers, dispatch reports, stock availability reports, and

monitor buffer stock planning.

• Handle Reliance Portal operations including ASN (Advance Shipment Notice) creation,

invoice coordination, and documentation updates.

• Coordinate with D-Mart & Reliance teams for smooth execution of offers, promotions,

and operational activities.





• Monitor supply issues, billing concerns, stock shortages, and resolve store-level or DC-

level operational challenges.

• Support forecasting, sales planning, business reviews, presentations, and category

performance analysis for Key Account Managers/NSM.

• Conduct regular market/store visits to monitor stock availability, visibility, and

execution of promotions in D-Mart & Reliance outlets.

Skills & Requirements

• Strong coordination, communication, and follow-up skills.

• Good knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, MIS reporting, stock tracking).

• Experience in ERP/SAP and sales reporting systems preferred.

• Robust understanding of Modern Trade operations, D-Mart & Reliance supply chain, and

DC operations.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Qualification & Experience

• Graduate / MBA preferred.

• 25 years of experience in Sales Coordination, preferably in FMCG Modern Trade.

• Hands-on experience handling D-Mart, Reliance, or other Modern Trade accounts

preferred.

• Experience in PO management, Modern Trade portals, and stock planning preferred.
