About the Role

We are looking for a sharp, communicative Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams — translating complex requirements into transparent, actionable deliverables. You will work with sophisticated web platforms, untangle intricate data flows, and ensure development teams have everything they need to build the right thing, right.

Key Responsibilities

- Engage with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
- Analyse complex web application behaviour and produce clear visual data flow diagrams (process flows, swimlanes, ER diagrams).
- Translate functional requirements into well-defined development tickets with clear acceptance criteria.
- Serve as the primary liaison between business owners, QA, and engineering teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Support UAT planning, execution, and sign-off coordination with end users.
- Identify gaps, ambiguities, and risks in requirements early; escalate and propose solutions proactively.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation including BRDs, user stories, and process maps.
- Participate in sprint ceremonies (planning, retrospectives, reviews) and contribute to backlog grooming.

Required Qualifications

Experience

- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst working with complex, multi-tier web applications.




- Demonstrated experience across the full BA lifecycle — from discovery through delivery.

Communication

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; able to present to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Skilled at writing clear, concise requirement documents, user stories, and business cases.

Systems & Data Analysis

- Strong ability to understand complex application architectures and simplify them into clear, visual data flows.
- Proficient in creating flow diagrams and process maps using tools such as Lucidchart, draw.io, Visio, or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of database concepts and the ability to read and interpret basic SQL queries (SELECT, JOIN, WHERE).
- Comfortable reviewing data schemas to validate business logic and trace data lineage.

Nice to Have

- Experience breaking down functional requirements into development-ready tickets (epics, stories, tasks) within Agile/Scrum frameworks.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar project management / documentation platforms.
- Exposure to sprint planning, backlog management, and velocity tracking.
- Understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, or integration patterns — enough to facilitate technical conversations.
- Prior experience in domains such as enterprise SaaS, fintech, logistics, or healthcare applications.
