Job Description :

We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Investment Banking professional at the Director level to lead mandates within the Industrials sector.

The role involves deep engagement across the deal lifecycle, including origination, execution, client management, and transaction closure.

The ideal candidate will bring robust sector expertise in Industrials (particularly product-led companies in India), combined with excellent analytical, client-facing, and leadership capabilities.

The candidate will play a key role in building and expanding the Industrials franchise, driving both sell-side and buy-side mandates, and contributing to strategic growth of the firm.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead industry research, market mapping, and sector intelligence for the Industrials domain.

- Develop and present mandate pitches to clients across sell-side and buy-side transactions.

- Serve as the primary client interface for Industrials sector engagements.

- Focus on core Industrial product companies (primarily India-based), with limited emphasis on services or e-commerce sectors.





- Stay updated on market trends, product innovations, and sector developments within Industrials.

- Manage the end-to-end deal execution lifecycle, including :

1. Client meetings and presentations

2. Transaction structuring

3. Bilateral negotiations

4. Commercial discussions

5. Due diligence coordination

6. Drafting and closure of transaction agreements

- Independently lead multiple live mandates simultaneously, ensuring successful closure.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with promoters, corporates, and investors.

- Contribute to the strategic growth of the Industrials practice and mentor junior team members.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

- 12+ years of experience in Investment Banking or related financial advisory roles.

- Strong exposure to deal execution and client coverage.

- MBA from a premier business school.

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualified in first attempt preferred.

- CFA certification is a strong plus
