A merchant banking division is hiring to lead and strengthen its deal placement function within Equity Capital Markets.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead placement of ECM transactions including IPOs, QIPs, rights issues, preferential allotments, OFS, block deals, pre-IPO placements and other capital-raising assignments
- Develop and execute investor outreach strategies to ensure successful placement
- Coordinate with issuers, promoters, institutional investors, family offices, HNIs, AIFs, PMSs, brokers and other intermediaries through the transaction lifecycle
- Work closely with internal execution, legal, compliance, research and syndication teams
- Arrange and participate in investor meetings, roadshows, management presentations and one-on-one discussions




- Build and maintain long-term relationships with institutional investors, family offices, HNIs, corporate houses and other market participants

Candidate profile: 5+ years of relevant experience in equity deal placements and investor relationships, with demonstrated experience managing and executing equity fundraising transactions. Solid understanding of equity capital markets, investor behaviour, transaction execution and regulatory requirements, coupled with excellent networking and relationship management skills.
