What would you do?
The Compensation & Benefits Recent Associate supports the delivery of HR services related to payroll, employee benefits, and compensation processes within a shared services/contact center environment. The role involves handling employee queries, executing transactions, and ensuring accurate and compliant processing of compensation and benefits activities, while delivering a consistent employee experience.
What are we looking for?
Relevant years of experience into HR Operations or Shared Services experience
- Exposure to Compensation & Benefits or employee data management processes is an advantage"
- Bachelor-s degree (B.A / B.Com / B.Sc / B.Tech or equivalent).
- "Must be open to Australian shift timings:
(9 am to 5 pm) Australian time"
- Basic understanding of Compensation & Benefits processes (payroll, benefits administration)
- Knowledge of Australia payroll regulations, taxation, and superannuation basics
- Familiarity with HRIS/payroll systems (SAP, Workday, ADP, SuccessFactors - preferred)
- Experience or understanding of contact center operations and SLA-driven delivery
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial and employee data
- Good communication skills with ability to handle employee queries professionally and empathetically
- Ability to manage high-volume, repetitive transactions efficiently
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of data privacy requirements for sensitive compensation information
- Adaptability to fast-paced, process-driven environments
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Handle employee queries related to payroll, compensation, and benefits via contact center channels (calls, chat, portal)
- Support payroll input validation, salary changes, bonus processing, and deductions
- Assist in administration of employee benefits (health insurance, superannuation, leave entitlements) in Australia
- Ensure accurate data entry and updates in HRIS and payroll systems
- Maintain adherence to SLA/KPI metrics (AHT, FCR, accuracy, CSAT) in a high-volume workplace
- Support compliance with Australia regulations (Fair Work Act, tax, superannuation requirements)
- Assist in resolving basic compensation or payroll discrepancies and escalate complex issues
- Maintain documentation and contribute to knowledge base updates for common queries
- Ensure data privacy and confidentiality of employee compensation information
