Mumbai Reports to Deputy Vice President - Compliance Role Summary : The role is responsible for providing comprehensive legal, regulatory, and advisory support across product management, IFSC operations, business initiatives, and internal reporting. The incumbent ensures regulatory compliance, product governance, and alignment with applicable laws, regulatory frameworks, and internal policies while supporting business growth and innovation. B. Organizational Relationships

Reports To

Deputy Vice President - Compliance Supervises NA Job Dimensions Geographic Area Covered Head Office- Complete Geography Stakeholders Internal Products, Operations, Marketing, Distribution, Strategy, etc. Stakeholders External Regulatory Authorities- IRDAI, IFSC, etc. C. Key Result Areas Products Vet Product Management Committee (PMC) documentation for new product launches and modifications. Draft, review, and ensure regulatory and legal accuracy of policy documents. Manage end to end legal support for recent product launches and product modifications. Establish and maintain consistency mechanisms across PMC approvals, policy wordings, and regulatory filings. Provide ongoing advisory support to product and business teams.

IFSC (International Financial Services Centre)

Manage licensing and renewals with IFSCA and SEZ authorities. Handle regulatory representations, correspondence, and supervisory interactions. Support regulatory implementation, compliance monitoring, and periodic reporting. Collaborate with stakeholders on IFSC business models and internal processes. Liaise with external legal counsel for regulatory opinions and advisory support. Advisory Evaluate innovative product propositions, including wellness offerings, health management services, and value added services. Assess new and evolving IFSC business models under applicable regulatory frameworks. Provide operations advisory for Individual and Group business lines.



Interpret regulations, evaluate industry practices, and conduct extensive legal research.

Internal & External Reporting

Prepare management level reports on legal, regulatory, and product matters. Coordinate and support AIA group reporting requirements. Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting D. Skills Required Strong interpretational and analytical skills for regulatory and legal frameworks. Ability to conduct extensive legal and regulatory research. Effective people management, time management, and prioritization abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Problem solving attitude with attention to detail and business practicality.

Technical & Digital Skills:

o Enable automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention and Support rollout of digital and AI-enabled products o Collaborate with business & tech teams to embed compliance in digital innovations o Evaluate and mitigate risks in AI, data usage, and emerging technologies o Promote process digitization and simplification across compliance and product workflows E.
