Role & responsibilities

Physical & Hybrid Office Infrastructure

- Design, deploy, and maintain core office network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, access points, and VPN.
- Remotely Design, deploy, and maintain remote location network infrastructure, internet, including switches, routers, firewalls, and Wi-Fi access points.
- Optimize office-to-cloud connectivity using secure site-to-site VPNs, SD-WAN, or dedicated cloud interconnects.
- Administer productivity and identity ecosystems, such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Active Directory / Entra ID.
- Vendor Management

2. Cloud Infrastructure & Automation

- Architect and scale production cloud environments across primary providers, especially Microsoft Azure and others like AWS, GCP, and DigitalOcean.
- Monitor system performance, optimize resource utilization, and manage cloud spending/cost-control strategies.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and system alerts.
- Deploy internal application environments using containerized technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure safe, repeatable, and secure software and configuration deployments.
- Vendor Management

3. Security Engineering & Compliance Governance

- Enforce Zero-Trust architecture across both physical office networks and remote cloud environments.
- Implement robust Identity and Access Management (IAM) based on the principle of least privilege. Solid understanding of SSO, SAML, provisioning protocols, and RBAC (Role-Based Access Control).
- Map and translate compliance requirements into operational technical controls for frameworks like SOC 2 / ISO 27001 / NIST / GDPR.
- Lead audit readiness initiatives,



gathering automated technical evidence and dashboards for external auditors.
- Monitor system logs (SIEM) to detect security anomalies, manage vulnerabilities, and execute rapid incident response.
- Creating Compliance Policy Documents as per industry standards

Technical Competencies

- Microsoft O365, Linux, Google Workspace
- Hybrid Networking: Robust proficiency in physical enterprise networking (Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, etc.) and cloud-native routing.
- Cloud Platforms: Hands-on systems administration experience, especially in Azure along with AWS, Google Cloud, DigitalOcean.
- Automation & Scripting: Mastery of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Directory Services: Expert knowledge of hybrid identity models, SAML, OID, and SSO configurations.
- Compliance Knowledge: Proven experience implementing technical controls to pass external security audits.

Background & Soft Skills

- Experience: 4+ years of experience spanning systems administration, cloud engineering, and IT compliance.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
- Communication: Ability to act as a bridge between technical engineering teams, business executives, external compliance auditors, and vendors.
- Project Management: Highly organized with the ability to manage physical office migrations alongside cloud deployments.

Preferred Certifications

(Possession of one or more is a major advantage)

- Infrastructure / Networking: CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or vendor-specific network certifications.
- Cloud & Security: Azure Security Engineer, AWS Certified Security Specialty, CCSP, or CISSP.
- Compliance / Audit: CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or CISM.
