Are you passionate about international trade, import operations, and supply chain management? We are looking for an experienced Imports Executive to manage end-to-end import coordination and ensure smooth shipment movement from suppliers to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with overseas suppliers regarding shipment schedules and dispatch timelines.
• Arrange and verify import documentation required for customs clearance..
• Coordinate with CHA (Custom House Agents) for smooth clearance of shipments.
Liaise with banks for LC issuance, document presentation, rate booking, and banking formalities.
Track shipments and ensure timely execution as per business requirements.
• Negotiate with logistics and supply chain vendors while ensuring adherence to agreed commercial terms.
• Maintain import records, documentation, and shipment files with proper tracking and retrieval systems.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Graduate in any discipline.
2-3 years of experience in Import Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, or International Trade.
Good understanding of import documentation and customs clearance procedures.
Experience working with CHA, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and banks.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems.
Robust coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines effectively.
