Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Hardware Engineer to manage IT infrastructure, provide end-user support, and ensure the smooth functioning of hardware and network systems in a pharmaceutical manufacturing workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and deploy new IT hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Perform preventive maintenance, monitor system performance, conduct PC health checks, and ensure high system availability.
- Apply operating system patches, software updates, and hardware upgrades as per organizational standards.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and LAN/network-related issues within defined service levels.
- Provide technical support to end users for Windows, Microsoft Office 365, and related applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Office 365 user issues, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and other Microsoft services.
- Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and lifecycle records for all hardware assets.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs, warranty claims, and replacement of IT equipment.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and standard operating procedures.




- Support backup, endpoint security, and system management tools as required.

Required Skills & Technical Expertise:

- Hands-on experience with Windows 11 administration and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 administration and end-user support.
- Experience with LAN networking concepts and hardware troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with endpoint security and backup solutions such as:
- Commvault
- Trend Micro
- Sentinel One
- Acronis

- Good understanding of IT asset management and inventory control.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- 5–7 years of experience in desktop support, hardware engineering, or IT infrastructure support.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing industry will be preferred.
- Hardware/Networking certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, Cisco) will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with cross-functional teams.
