We are looking for an experienced SAP CAR Consultant with expertise in SAP Customer Activity Repository (CAR), CAR Planning, and UDF (Unified Demand Forecast) solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in retail business processes, demand forecasting, replenishment planning, inventory optimization, and SAP CAR implementations/support projects.

Key Responsibilities

SAP CAR Implementation & Support

- Participate in end-to-end SAP CAR implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP CAR functional solutions.
- Configure and support SAP CAR modules including:
- POSDTA (Point of Sale Data Transfer & Audit)
- OAA (Omnichannel Article Availability)
- DDF (Demand Data Foundation)
- UDF (Unified Demand Forecast)
- CAR Planning & Forecasting

Forecasting & Replenishment

- Design and configure forecasting models using SAP UDF.
- Support demand planning, inventory planning, and replenishment optimization processes.
- Analyze sales trends, seasonality, promotions, and forecast accuracy.
- Develop forecast strategies to improve inventory availability and reduce stock-outs.

Integration

- Integrate SAP CAR with:
- SAP S/4HANA / ECC
- SAP Retail
- SAP BW/4HANA
- SAP F&R;
- SAP IBP (preferred)
- POS systems and third-party applications

- Support master data and transactional data integration.





Business & Functional Activities

- Conduct workshops, fit-gap analysis, and solution design sessions.
- Prepare functional specifications and work with technical teams for developments.
- Perform SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities.
- Provide post-go-live support and issue resolution.

Stakeholder Management

- Collaborate with business users, architects, and development teams.
- Provide recommendations for process optimization and system enhancements.
- Conduct user training and knowledge transfer sessions.

Required Skills

Functional Skills

- Robust experience in SAP CAR.
- Hands-on experience with:
- SAP UDF (Unified Demand Forecast)
- CAR Planning
- Demand Forecasting
- Replenishment Planning
- Inventory Optimization
- Retail Processes

- Understanding of merchandise planning and supply chain processes.

Technical Knowledge

- Knowledge of SAP HANA.
- Experience with data modeling and data extraction.
- Understanding of IDocs, APIs, SLT, and integration frameworks.
- Basic ABAP debugging knowledge preferred.

Domain Expertise

- Retail industry experience is highly preferred.
- Understanding of:
- Merchandise Management
- Supply Chain Planning
- Inventory Management
- Omnichannel Retail Operations

Mandatory Qualifications

- 4-15 years of SAP experience.
- Minimum 2+ years of SAP CAR experience.
- At least one end-to-end SAP CAR implementation project.
- Experience in UDF configuration and forecasting processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
