Job Purpose (Onsite / Offshore)

This is the most critical role from a customer credibility standpoint. The product is not just an accounting product; it is positioned to replace or consolidate the combined functions of Accounting Software, ERP, CRM, HR, and Advisory Services for nano and micro-SMEs.

We need a Product Owner who can understand and challenge the broader operating model, validate scope boundaries across these domains, run workshops, lead scope alignment, and drive solution direction from a business operations perspective someone customer stakeholders can trust to shape a product that helps micro and small enterprises succeed.

Job Description / Duties & Responsibilities

- Partner with customer stakeholders, including senior sponsors, to define and own the end-to-end product requirement roadmap.
- Conduct discovery workshops, structured interviews, and requirement elicitation sessions with customer business stakeholders.
- Understand and challenge the broader operating model spanning Accounting, ERP, CRM, HR, and Advisory functions, validating scope boundaries across these domains.




- Lead scope alignment and drive solution direction from a business operations perspective, acting as the primary trusted point of contact for the customer.
- Conduct market research and competitive benchmarking to identify similar use cases and products.
- Research, evaluate, and present options and trade-offs to customer stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
- Identify and prioritize AI-driven use cases that make the product future-ready and differentiated in the market.
- Define and own the product vision and roadmap tailored to the needs of micro and small enterprises.
- Translate business requirements into clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria for the engineering team.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and engineering teams to validate feasibility and shape solution direction.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog, balancing customer priorities, technical feasibility, and business value.
- Define success metrics and ensure delivered features align with the goal of making the product successful for nano/micro-SME customers.
- Facilitate decision-making forums and steering sessions with customer leadership.
- Support UAT, product demonstrations, and stakeholder sign-off across release cycles.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with key customer stakeholders, representing the voice of the customer internally.




- Adhere to Information Security Management policies and procedures.

Job Specification / Skills & Competencies Experience
- 10+ years of overall experience, with significant time as a Product Owner or Lead Business Analyst, ideally on SaaS or platform products.
- Proven experience working directly with customer stakeholders to define product vision, scope, and requirement roadmaps.

Strong Workshop Facilitation & Stakeholder Interview Skills Including
- Requirement discovery and elicitation workshops.
- Scope and operating-model alignment sessions.
- Decision-making and steering forums with senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to research and present options/trade-offs that help customers make confident decisions.

Required Skills
- Solid market research and competitive analysis skills to benchmark similar products and use cases.
- Awareness of AI/ML capabilities and how they can be applied to make products future-ready.
- Understanding of the operational needs of micro and small enterprises (Accounting, ERP, CRM, HR, Advisory).
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to quickly build trust with senior customer sponsors.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum Product Ownership practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio, Jira, Confluence, and roadmap/backlog management tools.
- Relevant certifications such as CSPO or PSPO are preferred.
