SMC Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd., a leading name in the insurance broking industry, is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Employee Benefit Underwriter to join our Corporate Sales division. This role requires in-depth understanding of employee benefit insurance products and the ability to structure customized solutions for corporate clients.

Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled .NET Software Developer with 2+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining modern web applications using Microsoft .NET technologies and React.js. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in backend development with .NET Core/.NET, frontend development with React, API development, database management, and cloud-native application development. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using .NET and React.js.
- Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using ASP.NET Core and C#.
- Build responsive and reusable UI components using React.js.
- Implement state management and frontend architecture best practices.
- Design and optimize database structures, queries, and stored procedures.
- Collaborate with product owners, UX designers,



QA engineers, and architects.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and performance issues.
- Support CI/CD implementation and automated deployment processes.
- Contribute to application modernization and cloud migration initiatives.
- Follow Agile development methodologies and participate in sprint activities.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Software Development.
- Strong experience with Microsoft .NET technologies and React.js.
- Experience developing enterprise-scale web applications.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks and state management libraries.
- Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD practices.
- Experience working with distributed enterprise applications.
- Microsoft Azure certifications are a plus.
