QUALIFICATION
Bachelor of Engineering / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Instrumentation & Control Engineering
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Minimum 8 years' experience in Supply Chain Management and Technical Procurement.
RESPONSIBILITY
The Manager - MEP Procurement is responsible to ensure all contract deliverable under given guidance of the Facility Head.
JOB ROLE
- Identify, evaluate, and on-board reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and service-level agreements.
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery, quality, or commercial issues.
- Analyse market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure procurement complies with company policies, legal requirements,
and ethical sourcing standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes and supplier management.
- Manage procurement budgets and monitor spending against targets.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and generate regular procurement reports.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team.
- Robust negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent analytical negotiating and problem-solving abilities.
- Vendor relationship management expertise.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Advance Microsoft etc.) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of engineering standards, specifications, and technical parameters.
- Strong knowledge of ISO, NBC and BIS code of conduct.
