Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Representative with a solid background in the port, marine, and offshore industry. The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of lifting and mooring products, including ropes, wire ropes, chains, shackles, and related marine equipment. The role involves business development, customer relationship management, technical sales, and identifying new opportunities within ports, terminals, shipyards, and marine service companies

Role & responsibilities

- Develop and maintain relationships with ports, terminals, shipyards, marine contractors, and offshore companies.
- Promote and sell lifting and mooring products, including:
- Synthetic ropes
- Wire ropes
- Chains
- Shackles
- Lifting slings
- Anchoring and mooring accessories
- Identify new business opportunities and generate sales leads.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales orders.
- Provide technical guidance to customers regarding product selection and application.
- Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, delivery, and after-sales support.
- Monitor market trends,



competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Conduct site visits, product demonstrations, and customer meetings.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth.

Preferred candidate profile

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor's degree or Diploma.
- Proven sales experience in the port, marine, offshore, or industrial sector.
- Good understanding of ropes, wire ropes, chains, shackles, lifting gear, and marine hardware.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel frequently for customer visits and business development activities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.

Preferred Experience

- Experience working with ports, shipping companies, ship chandlers, marine service providers, or offshore contractors.
- Existing customer network within the port and marine industry will be an added advantage.

Knowledge of relevant industry standards and certifications related to lifting and mooring equipment
