Key Responsibilities

1. Event Creation Commercial Ownership
Conceptualize and launch sports tournaments, leagues, and live events from
ideation to execution
Own end-to-end event planning, including venue finalization, teams, logistics,
vendors, and partners
Take full accountability for PL, revenue realization, and commercial closure
2. Federation Stakeholder Management
Lead direct engagement with sports federations and governing bodies (BCCI,
Hockey India, Wrestling Federation, Athletics, State Associations, etc.)
Secure approvals, sanctions, contracts, and compliance clearances
Negotiate rights, fees, and long-term partnerships with federations and promoters
3. Sales Revenue Generation (On-Ground Focus)
Drive revenue through event sponsorships, brand partnerships, on-ground
branding, experiential activations, and licensing
Personally close large, complex sponsorship deals with national and regional brands
Ensure complete monetization of events, not just pipeline generation
4. Pan-India Execution




Lead multi-city and multi-state events across India
Coordinate cross-functional teams (operations, marketing, finance, creative, agencies)
for flawless delivery
Manage high-pressure timelines and live-event execution
5. Team Leadership
Build and lead national and regional sales execution teams
Set KPIs, revenue targets, and accountability frameworks
Create a performance-driven, execution-first culture

Must-Have Experience Qualifications
12-18 years of experience in sports events, live events, experiential marketing, or entertainment
Proven track record of building and monetizing sports events from scratch
Direct experience working with sports federations and regulatory bodies
Solid exposure to on-ground sponsorship sales and event commercialization
Full ownership of event execution + revenue closure
MBA or equivalent qualification (preferred)
