- Manage the design process from conception through to final styling.

- Conduct market research to identify new trends, fabrics, and techniques, and seek design inspiration.

- Collaborate with team members to select seasonal themes, make edits to the line, and create recent concepts.

- Ensure that products align with business strategy.

- Select fabrics and trims, and create production sketches for development packages.

- Review products for style and fit during presentations and present story, mood, color boards, and samples to buyers.

- Participate in fashion shows and communicate with clients and the media.

- Oversee production and promote designs to creative directors and merchandisers.

Job Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in design or fine arts, or a college degree in fashion design or a related field.

- Minimum 5 years of design experience.

- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Adobe Illustrator.





- Availability to travel for research and product development.

- Ability to create sketches by hand.

- Excellent design and conceptual skills.

- Excellent sense of style and color.

- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to meet multiple deadlines.
