About Process:

Reju is a Materials regeneration company pioneering advanced polyester recycling through a breakthrough technology derived from IBMs VolCat process.



Its innovative solution depolymerizes polyester waste into monomers, removes contaminants such as dyes, elastane, and PFAS, and regenerates high-quality polyester with significantly lower CO emissions and fossil energy consumption compared to virgin polyester production.

The lawyer will be supporting the Reju team and will be providing assistance in a variety of subjects. The Lawyer will work closely with other departments within the organization as well as external partners. The Lawyer should be open to travelling.

Shift timing: 1 PM to 9.30 PM

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise legal projects, ensuring timely execution, effective risk management, and alignment with business objectives.
- Manage and mentor junior legal team members, providing guidance on complex legal, matters while fostering professional development.
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders and external counsel to drive strategic initiatives, resolve legal issues, and support informed decision-making.
- Oversee workload prioritization, resource allocation, and process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the legal function.
- Support the business development team in outreach to potential suppliers and offtakes.




- Develop form of feedstock supply and offtake agreements as well form of partnership agreements and thereafter support to teams when negotiating actual contracts with specific clients.
- Support to IP team in developing its IP Roadmap and ensuring that appropriate agreements are in place with partners IBM / Taclov / Reju relating to IP governance and ownership of proprietary equipment.
- Support to punctual M&A; initiatives.
- Support to procurement and engineering teams in their negotiations with suppliers.
- Managing real estate aspect of Rejus development (offices and demo plants).
- Support to the institutional funding team in securing grants and loans from EU and national governments.
- Developing roadmap to Final Investment Decision.
- Liaising with Compliance team in implementation of Reju Compliance program.
- Contractualize the enforceable aspects of the Reju guarantee, a set of circularity claims relating to Rejus products and positioning in the value chain.
- Support in the preparation of Reju board and Taclov board.

Qualifications

- Law graduate
- 9 to 15 years’ in-house experience.
- Agile / Start-up / entrepreneurship mindset.
- Truly team spirit oriented.
- Open-minded with a robust appetite to learn, and to share your learnings.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- High capacity of analysis and synthesis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
