What will you do?

You will manage factory HR operations with a strong focus on labour law compliance, industrial

relations, workforce management, employee discipline, and statutory governance within a

manufacturing environment. The role requires close coordination with plant operations, contractors,

employees, and government authorities to ensure smooth factory HR operations, legal compliance,

workforce stability, and employee welfare.

Key Responsibilities:

Legal & Statutory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with the Factories Act, Labour Laws, ESI, PF, Minimum Wages, Contract

Labour regulations, and other applicable statutory requirements.

• Manage timely renewal and maintenance of factory licenses, fire NOCs, environmental

consents, and statutory records.

• Liaise with government authorities, labour departments, factory inspectors, and external

agencies for inspections, audits, and compliance matters.

• Draft, review, and maintain HR/legal documentation including appointment letters, notices,

standing orders, warning letters, and disciplinary documentation.

• Support legal matters, documentation, and coordination related to labour disputes, hearings,

and compliance cases.

Industrial Relations (IR) & Employee Discipline

• Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, misconduct investigations, and domestic

inquiries.

• Support IR stability through workforce communication, employee engagement, and policy

adherence.

• Coordinate and manage contractor workforce compliance and discipline.

• Maintain harmonious employee relations and support conflict resolution at shopfloor level.

Workforce & HR Operations

• Manage factory recruitment and manpower coordination for blue-collar and staff workforce.

• Monitor attendance, leave management, payroll inputs, contractor deployment, and daily HR

operations.

• Ensure proper maintenance of employee records, statutory registers, and HR documentation.

• Support onboarding, induction, and employee lifecycle management processes.

Safety, Welfare & Employee Engagement





• Coordinate with EHS teams to promote workplace safety, statutory safety compliance, and

incident reporting.

• Drive employee welfare initiatives including canteen, medical facilities, employee support,

and engagement activities.

• Identify training needs and conduct awareness sessions on labour laws, workplace discipline,

and safety practices.

• Support implementation of employee communication forums, townhalls, and workforce

connect initiatives.

Who are we looking for?

• Candidates with bachelors degree along with LLM, MBA HR, MHRM, or MSW – preferred.

• 3 years of relevant experience in Factory HR, Industrial Relations, and Labour Law

compliance within manufacturing or industrial setup.

• Strong knowledge of labour laws, statutory compliance, factory operations, and IR practices.

• Experience in handling government inspections, contractor management, disciplinary

procedures, and workforce grievances.

• Positive interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Ability to work closely with plant operations and manage shopfloor HR dynamics effectively.

• Exposure to legal drafting, domestic inquiries, and labour dispute coordination will be an

added advantage.
