We are a growing distribution company specializing in printed books of all kinds academic and non-academic catering to schools, colleges, universities, and libraries across both the Private and Government sector. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales & Marketing Executive to strengthen our reach and build long-term institutional relationships.
Key Responsibilities
1. Identify, approach, and develop business with schools, colleges, universities, and libraries.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional buyers, procurement teams, and decision-makers.
3. Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations tailored to client requirements.
4. Handle documentation and tender submissions for government and institutional bids.
5. Actively manage and monitor opportunities on Government E-Marketplace (GeM) Portal and other procurement platforms.
6. Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and track competitor activities.
7.
Represent the company at trade fairs, book exhibitions, and industry networking events.
8. Maintain and update records using Microsoft Word, Excel, and related tools.
9. Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and growth objectives.
Qualifications & Skills Required
1. Bachelors degree (preferred in Business, Marketing, or related field).
2. Proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the education / publishing / distribution industry.
3. Robust interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and reporting.
5. Experience in government bidding processes; knowledge of GeM Portal will be a significant advantage.
6. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
