Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Linux L2 Engineer to support, maintain, and troubleshoot Oracle Linux based enterprise environments. The role involves handling incidents, patching, performance issues, and ensuring system stability and security.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide L2 support for Oracle Linux servers

- Troubleshoot OS, performance, and system-level issues

- Perform OS patching, updates, and compliance activities

- Manage user access, file systems, and system services

- Monitor server health and respond to alerts

- Coordinate with L3 teams and vendors (Oracle)

- Follow ITIL processes and maintain documentation

Required Skills
- Robust experience in Oracle Linux (OEL)





- Hands-on experience with Linux administration troubleshooting

- Knowledge of patching, kernel updates, and security hardening

- Understanding of YUM, RPM, systemd

- Familiarity with monitoring tools and ITIL processes

Good to Have
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

- Shell scripting (Bash)

- Exposure to virtualization or cloud platforms
