Role & responsibilities:

HVAC DESING ENGINEER

Candidate must have experience of design consultancy firm.

The HVAC Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing HVAC systems for a variety of projects, including hospitals, hotels, residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. The role requires expertise in engineering principles, project management, and a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.

1. Design and Development:

- Conduct detailed load calculations to determine heating and cooling needs.

- Design HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, ventilation, and control systems and preparation of BOQ and Tender.

- Select appropriate HVAC equipment such as chillers, boilers, air handling units, and heat exchangers.

2. Client Interaction:

- Meet with clients to discuss project requirements, present designs, and provide technical guidance.

- Address client concerns and make modifications to designs based on feedback.

- Prepare and deliver technical presentations to clients and stakeholders.

3. Site Visit and Inspections:

- Perform site visits to assess project feasibility and gather data for design purposes.

- Inspect HVAC installations during construction to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HVAC systems during construction.

4. Continuous Learning:

- Stay updated with the latest HVAC technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes.

-Participate in professional development opportunities, including workshops, seminars and certificate.

Preferred candidate profile:

Technical Skills:

1. Proficiency in HVAC design software (CAD, BIM, HAP, etc....)

2.



Robust knowledge of HVAC system components and their functions.

3. Understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations relevant to HVAC designs.

Working Conditions:

1. Primarily office-based with occasional site visit and inspections.

2. Travel may be required depending on project locations.

PLUMBING DESIGN ENGINEER

Candidate must have experience of design consultancy firm.

The Plumbing & Firefighting Design Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and making documentations of plumbing and firefighting systems in various types of buildings, including hospitals, hotels, residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. The role requires expertise in engineering principles, project management, and a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.

1. Design and Development:

- Design plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, stromwater management and wastewater systems.

- Design firefighting systems such as sprinkler systems, fire pumps, hydrant systems and fire suppression systems.

- Perform hydraulic calculations,



pump head calculations and pipe sizing for plumbing and fire protection systems and preparation of BOQ and Tender.

- Select appropriate materials, fixtures and equipment for plumbing and fire protection applications.

2. Client Interaction:

- Engage with clients to understand their specific plumbing and fire protection requirements, present design solutions and offer technical expertise.

- Address client feedback and make necessary modifications to designs to meet project objectives.

- Prepare and deliver technical presentations to clients and other project stakeholders.

3. Site Visits and inspections:

- Conduct site visits to gather data, assess existing plumbing and firefighting systems, and evaluate project feasibility.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HVAC systems during construction.

4.Continuous Learning:

- Stay updated with the latest technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes related to plumbing and firefighting systems.

-Participate in professional development opportunities, including workshops, seminars and certifications relevant to the field.

Preferred candidate profile:

Technical Skills:

1. Proficiency in design software (CAD, BIM, HASS, etc....)

2. Strong knowledge of plumbing system, fire protection system, and their components.

3. Familiarity with relevant codes and standards, such as NBC, NFPA, IS.
