Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and technically capable Tricentis TOSCA Test Developer to join our growing automation team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, executing, and maintaining automated test cases and test suites using the Tricentis TOSCA platform. You will work under the direction of a Lead Test Developer and/or SME/Architect, contributing to the delivery of high-quality automated testing across a range of applications and platforms. Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and maintain automated test cases and test suites using Tricentis TOSCA Commander/Tosca Cloud in accordance with the project automation strategy.
- Create and maintain reusable TOSCA test modules, test steps, and test configurations following model-based testing principles.
- Execute automated regression, smoke, and functional test suites and report results clearly to the Lead Test Developer.
- Identify, investigate, and document automation failures, distinguishing between genuine defects and script issues.
- Collaborate with manual testers, developers, and BAs to understand test requirements and translate them into automated scripts.
- Support test data preparation and maintenance in coordination with TDM/TDS processes.
- Maintain TOSCA workspace hygiene, including module versioning, naming conventions, and folder structures.
- Contribute to test automation documentation including test case descriptions, execution logs, and defect reports.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.




- Continuously seek to upskill in TOSCA features and capabilities, and share learnings with the team.
- Support UAT and integration testing activities where required, providing automation coverage alongside manual test efforts.

Required Skills & Experience

- 3+ years in software testing with a minimum of 1-2 years hands-on experience in Tricentis TOSCA.
- Tricentis Certified Associate (AS1,AS2 TDS1 and TDS2) certification is required or actively being pursued.
- Practical experience creating and executing TOSCA test cases, test suites, and test configurations.
- Understanding of model-based testing concepts and their application within TOSCA.
- Experience with functional testing of web and/or desktop applications.
- Familiarity with defect management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, CALMor similar.
- Positive analytical skills with the ability to investigate automation failures and root-cause analysis.
- Ability to work collaboratively within an Agile/Scrum team, managing tasks and time effectively.
- Clear communication skills with the ability to document test results and raise issues promptly.

Desirable Skills

- Experience with TOSCA API testing modules.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure Pipelines.
- Basic understanding of SQL for test data queries.
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git or TFS.
- Understanding of ISTQB testing principles.
- Experience testing SAP, Salesforce, or other enterprise applications.

Certifications

- Tricentis Certified Associate (AS1,AS2,TDS1 and TDS2) Required (or in progress)
- Tricentis Product Consultant – Desirable / Career Goal
- ISTQB Foundation Level – Desirable
