We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with solid expertise in books workflow within the ePublishing/publishing industry. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end book production projects, ensuring timely delivery, high quality, and adherence to client specifications. This role requires excellent project management, stakeholder communication, and team coordination skills, along with in-depth knowledge of publishing workflows.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end book production projects from manuscript receipt to final delivery.
- Plan, schedule, monitor, and control project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with editorial, copyediting, typesetting, artwork, XML, eBook conversion, QA, and production teams.
- Ensure compliance with client-specific workflows, style guides, and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans.




- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular project updates and resolving issues proactively.
- Track project metrics, productivity, quality, and on-time delivery.
- Conduct project review meetings and prepare status reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Drive process improvements, workflow optimization, and automation initiatives.
- Support team development through mentoring, training, and performance monitoring.
- Ensure adherence to publishing standards and digital accessibility requirements where applicable.
