Role & responsibilities :
- Monitor and maintain all hospital utilities including HVAC, Electrical Systems, DG Sets, UPS, STP, WTP, Medical Gas Pipeline System (MGPS), Fire Fighting Systems, and Plumbing Services.
- Ensure uninterrupted functioning of critical hospital equipment and infrastructure during the assigned shift.
- Attend and resolve breakdown complaints within defined turnaround times.
- Supervise technicians and maintenance staff during the shift.
- Conduct routine inspections of engineering systems and maintain shift logs.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with NABH, safety, infection control, and statutory requirements.
- Monitor energy consumption and suggest measures for energy conservation.
- Coordinate with vendors and external agencies for maintenance activities when required.
- Maintain records of equipment performance,
downtime, and maintenance activities.
- Escalate critical issues to the Engineering Manager and support emergency response activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline.
- 7- 10 years of experience in hospital, healthcare, hotel, or facility management engineering operations.
- Experience in handling hospital utilities and critical infrastructure is preferred.
- Knowledge of NABH standards and hospital engineering systems will be an added advantage.
