We're looking for a detail-oriented Ecommerce Catalogue Executive to own product listings, supplier data, and catalogue accuracy across our Shopify stores. This role suits someone who thrives on structure comfortable working through large volumes of product data, following explicit SOPs, and juggling multiple supplier projects without losing accuracy along the way.
Product Creation & Catalogue Management
- Create and maintain product listings across our Shopify ecommerce stores
- Write and format product descriptions using supplier information and internal guidelines
- Upload and organise product images
- Apply correct product tags, collections and attributes
- Ensure products are structured correctly with variants where required
- Maintain high catalogue accuracy across all listings
Supplier Data Handling
- Work with supplier product data including spreadsheets, PDFs and supplier websites
- Extract relevant information and convert it into structured Shopify listings
- Manage product data from multiple suppliers simultaneously
- Ensure product information is consistent and complete
Image Editing & Preparation
- Resize and optimise supplier-provided product images
- Ensure images meet internal standards for size, format and quality
- Organise product imagery correctly within listings
Ecommerce Data Quality & Validation
- Review order confirmations and identify potential product or pricing errors
- Check supplier cost prices against Shopify records to ensure accuracy
- Identify inconsistencies in product data and report them to the ecommerce team
- Support catalogue accuracy and data integrity across all stores
Process, Workflow & Communication
- Follow documented Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for product creation and data handling
- Use internal task management systems to organise workload
- Work on both individual tasks and larger catalogue projects
- Identify missing or unclear supplier data and escalate when necessary
- Communicate clearly with the ecommerce team regarding progress and issues
- Provide regular updates on project progress and workload
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong written and spoken English
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and follow documented processes
- Experience working with spreadsheets and product data
- Basic image editing skills (resizing, cropping and optimisation)
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and supplier projects simultaneously
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Shopify
- Previous ecommerce or product catalogue management experience
- Experience handling large product datasets
- Familiarity with image editing tools (Pixlr, Photoshop, Canva, or similar)
