Role: Senior Network Engineer

Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and manage enterprise LAN/WAN/WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and data center networks.
- Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, wireless infrastructure, Windows Server, and Linux servers.
- Administer routing and switching protocols including OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, STP, VLANs, VRRP/HSRP, QoS, NAT, ACLs, DNS, DHCP, and IPv4/IPv6.
- Manage network security solutions including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, NAC, network segmentation, and endpoint security.
- Administer Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux servers (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS), including:
- Active Directory (AD DS)
- Group Policy (GPO)
- DNS, DHCP
- File and Print Services
- IIS Web Server
- Windows Failover Clustering
- Hyper-V
- Windows Server Update Services (WSUS)
- PowerShell administration
- User, group, and permission management
- System hardening and patch management

- Administer Linux servers (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS), including user management, networking, services, SSH, DNS, DHCP, web servers, package management, and system hardening.
- Configure and manage virtualization platforms including VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, and virtual networking.
- Monitor network, Windows, and Linux server performance; troubleshoot incidents; perform root cause analysis and capacity planning.
- Implement network and infrastructure automation using Python, Bash, PowerShell, and Ansible.
- Support high availability, disaster recovery, backup, replication, and business continuity solutions.
- Prepare network diagrams,



technical documentation, SOPs, asset inventory, and change management records.
- Collaborate with security, cloud, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure and reliable IT operations.

Required Skills:

- Enterprise networking (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, or equivalent)
- TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VLAN, VXLAN, QoS, VPN, DNS, DHCP, IPv4/IPv6
- Firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco Firepower, Check Point)
- Windows Server Administration (2016/2019/2022)
- Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, IIS, WSUS, Hyper-V, Failover Clustering
- PowerShell scripting and Windows administration
- Linux administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS), Bash scripting, SSH, system monitoring
- VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, and virtualization technologies
- Network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Zabbix, Nagios)
- SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, IPsec/SSL VPN
- Automation using Python, Bash, PowerShell, and Ansible
- Backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Robust troubleshooting, performance tuning, documentation, and communication skills

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or a related field.
- 8 - 10 years of experience in enterprise networking, Windows Server administration, and Linux administration.
- Preferred certifications:
- CCNP / CCIE
- RHCSA / RHCE
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (or equivalent Microsoft certification)
- JNCIP
- NSE (Fortinet)
- PCNSA/PCNSE (Palo Alto)
- VMware VCP (preferred)
- ITIL Foundation (preferred)
