Inviting Applications for Record to report-- Noida

- Work location: Noida
- Shift: ANZ (Shift will begin at 4 AM / 5 AM in the morning)
- Graduation: Commerce graduate
- Exeperience range: 2 - 9 years

The Financial Control Analyst is responsible for supporting journal processing, period-end close activities, balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, intercompany accounting, chart of accounts governance, issue resolution and financial analysis activities. The role helps ensure financial information remains accurate, compliant and appropriately controlled while supporting financial reporting, planning and decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

Journal Entry Processing

- Prepare, review and process journal entries supporting financial accounting and reporting activities.
- Support operational accruals, prepayments, reclassifications and adjustment journals.
- Validate supporting documentation, calculations and approvals.
- Assist in recording transactions in accordance with accounting standards and internal policies.
- Support consolidation-related journal activities including eliminations and other reporting adjustments.

Period-End Close Activities

- Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and post accruals, adjustments and closing entries.
- Monitor close activities against reporting calendars and deadlines.
- Perform data validation and account reviews prior to period closure.
- Support certification and reporting activities across business units and consolidation processes.





Balance Sheet Reconciliations

- Perform reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and supporting ledgers.
- Investigate and resolve reconciling items and aged balances.
- Support substantiation of account balances through detailed analysis and documentation.
- Prepare reconciliation schedules and supporting evidence.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with reconciliation policies and timelines.

Fixed Asset Accounting

- Support asset capitalisation, depreciation and disposal activities.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and supporting schedules.
- Assist with fixed asset reconciliations and reporting.
- Support physical verification and asset governance activities.
- Ensure accounting treatment aligns with established policies and standards.

Intercompany Accounting

- Support reconciliation of intercompany balances and transactions.
- Investigate and resolve differences across legal entities.
- Assist with intercompany eliminations and consolidation requirements.
- Monitor ageing, unreconciled balances and exception items.
- Support timely closure of intercompany accounting issues.

Chart of Accounts & Master Data Governance

- Support maintenance of chart of accounts structures and financial hierarchies.
- Assist with creation, amendment and governance of GL accounts.
- Validate master data changes and approvals.
- Ensure consistency of financial data structures across reporting environments.
- Support master data quality initiatives and governance controls

Issue & Query Management

- Investigate financial accounting discrepancies and exceptions.
- Respond to stakeholder enquiries relating to financial data and account balances.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
- Coordinate resolution of accounting and reporting issues across teams.
- Maintain documentation supporting issue resolution and audit requirements.

Project Support & Continuous Improvement

- Support finance transformation, system enhancement and process improvement initiatives.
- Participate in testing, user acceptance activities and implementation projects.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to improve controls, efficiency and reporting quality.




- Support automation and standardisation initiatives across the Financial Control function.

Financial Analysis & Business Partnering

- Support preparation of management reporting and financial analysis.
- Assist stakeholders in understanding financial performance and trends.
- Provide commentary and insights supporting decision-making.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities for designated business areas.
- Contribute to financial planning, variance analysis and performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Essential

- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls and reporting processes.
- Experience working within Financial Control, Record-to-Report, General Ledger, Controllership or Finance Operations environments.

Preferred

- CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent professional qualification.
- Experience with SAP, OneStream or similar ERP and reporting platforms.
- Exposure to financial close, reconciliations, consolidation or controllership activities.
