Job Description Overseas Admission Counselor

Role: Overseas Admission Counselor

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students and parents regarding higher education opportunities in countries such as the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, and Europe.
- Assess students' academic background, career goals, and eligibility to recommend suitable universities and programs.
- Guide students through the complete admission process, including university selection, application submission, document verification, and offer acceptance.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing application documents, including Statements of Purpose (SOPs), Letters of Recommendation (LORs), resumes, and academic transcripts.
- Provide accurate information on admission requirements, tuition fees, scholarships, deadlines, and English language proficiency tests (IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, Duolingo).
- Support students throughout the student visa application process and pre-departure formalities.
- Coordinate with university representatives and admission teams to track application status and resolve queries.
- Maintain student records, application progress, and follow-up activities using CRM systems.
- Conduct counseling sessions, webinars, education fairs, and promotional events to generate student enrollments.
- Achieve admission and enrollment targets while ensuring high levels of student satisfaction.

Required Skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong counseling, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand students' educational and career aspirations.
- Knowledge of international university admission procedures and visa documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and time management skills.

Preferred Qualification

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in any discipline.
- Experience in overseas education counseling, admissions, customer service, or sales is preferred.
- Knowledge of study-abroad destinations, admission cycles,
