Job Description Technical Assistant - Category (Products)

Type of employment: This is a contractual role under third-party payroll.

Job Responsibilities

Core Activities:

- Responsible for managing the identification/creation/modification of the TPs (Technical Parameters) for assigned product categories.
- Responsible for time-to-time updating and maintenance of the TPs (Technical Parameters)
- Responsible for product market sanitization on a regular basis Allied Activities:
- Responsible for ensuring that the technical details are collected from buyers and sellers and address their requirements
- Ensure that national and international standards/Regulations/certifications applicable to the product are captured in the Technical Parameters
- Ensure that the Technical Parameters are comprehensive enough to support the catalogue of all the different manufacturers
- Ensure that the Technical Parameters meet the expectations of key internal and external stakeholders




- Responsible for conducting the Consultative Committee Meetings for finalising the technical particulars whenever required
- Any other responsibility as assigned by the reporting manager Eligibility criteria for Professional Experience:

Minimum 1 Year in

i. e-commerce or

ii. Past Experience in preparation of technical parameters for products is preferred .

Other Skill Sets

- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a highly demanding and fast paced high growth environment
- Knowledge about BIS Standards, TEC std. and international standards shall be an added advantage
- Solid technical and consumer understanding of product categories • Strong Collaboration and negotiation skills to handle multiple stakeholders
- Capability to work in a fast-paced high growth environment • Very well conversant with using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Educational

Qualifications

- Essential: Bachelors degree in engineering or technology
