Role & responsibilities

- 68 years of experience in backend/API testing with strong proficiency in Java
- Design, develop, and execute backend/API automation using Java and frameworks like Rest Assured
- Perform end-to-end API testing (functional, regression, integration, negative testing)
- Validate data integrity using SQL (joins, stored procedures, complex queries)
- Strong programming skills in Java (string manipulation, HashMap operations, Collections, Data Structures, design patterns – POM, Page Factory, Singleton ).
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver(3, 4) & TestNG.
- Experience in testing Playwright with JS/TS.
- Robust understanding of SDLC & STLC
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams
- Identify, track, and resolve defects with proper root cause analysis
- Ensure quality in systems related to payments processing and transaction flows
- Contribute to test strategy, planning, and framework improvements

Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated test suites
