Job Description

Team Languages is seeking a passionate and dedicated Japanese Language Trainer to join our growing academic team. The ideal candidate should possess advanced Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N1 or NAT-TEST Q1) and have a strong passion for teaching students aspiring to study, work, or build careers in Japan.

The trainer will be responsible for delivering high-quality Japanese language instruction, preparing students for proficiency examinations, and helping them develop strong communication skills in Japanese.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct Japanese language classes from Beginner (N5) to Advanced (N1) levels.
- Prepare students for JLPT and NAT-TEST examinations.
- Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Improve students' reading, writing, listening, speaking, and grammar skills.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain attendance records, progress reports, and assessment results.
- Conduct mock tests and revision sessions before examinations.
- Guide students about Japanese culture, etiquette, and workplace communication.
- Collaborate with the Academic and Admissions teams to support student success.




- Participate in curriculum development and training activities.

Required Qualifications

- JLPT N1 Certification (Preferred) or NAT-TEST Q1 Certification (Equivalent).
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Excellent command of Japanese and English.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students.

Preferred Skills

- Prior experience teaching Japanese language.
- Knowledge of JLPT and NAT-TEST examination patterns.
- Experience in translation, interpretation, or Japanese corporate communication is an added advantage.
- Good classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online teaching platforms.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
