Field Service Engineer

1. Installation & Commissioning
- Install, configure, test, and commission note sorting machines and other banking automation equipment at customer sites, ensuring successful acceptance.

- Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance

- Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance and respond promptly to breakdown calls to maximize machine uptime and customer productivity.

- Technical Troubleshooting

- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software faults, perform repairs, replace defective parts, and ensure issues are resolved within the agreed service levels.

- Customer Support & Training

- Train operators on the correct use and routine maintenance of equipment, provide technical guidance, and maintain robust customer relationships.

- Service Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain accurate service reports, installation records, preventive maintenance logs, spare parts consumption, and update the service management system.

Preferred candidate profile

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.




- 3 to 8 years of experience in field service, installation, or maintenance of banking automation equipment, ATMs, note sorting machines, currency handling systems, or similar electromechanical products.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and basic software-related issues.
- Good understanding of preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair of electromechanical equipment.
- Customer-focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work across assigned territories.
- Ability to work independently, manage service calls efficiently, and meet service response and resolution targets.
- Basic computer knowledge with experience in using service management applications, MS Office, and mobile reporting tools.
- Candidates with experience in the banking automation, ATM, cash management, or office automation industry will be given preference.
