About the Role

This is an execution-heavy investment support role within a family office investment operation. You will work directly with the principal across a live bond portfolio, derivatives book, and structured product pipeline. This is not a research-writing role it is an active markets role requiring daily discipline, quantitative accuracy, and speed.

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily screening and shortlisting of fixed income instruments focus on US and global credit markets (AT1/CoCo, corporate bonds, IG credit)
2. Monitor and maintain SPX/SPY options positions iron condors, short put spreads, broken-wing structures; track delta, theta, IV crush, and VIX event risk daily
3. Evaluate UCITS funds, structured credit products (CLNs, FCNs, range accruals), and alternative fixed income instruments for portfolio fit
4. ROE modelling on repo-financed bond positions using SOFR-based funding costs and broker haircut schedules
5. Prepare daily portfolio summaries, position updates, and investment screening outputs for principal review
6. Support evaluation of structured products from banks analyse coupon terms, barrier levels,



worst-of structures, and breakeven scenarios
7. Coordinate with repo/bond operations (Sanjeev) for daily financing checks and margin tracking
8. Requirements

Requirements

1. MBA Finance or CFA Level II/III CFA strongly preferred given derivatives and fixed income depth required
2. Genuine working knowledge of options Greeks, fixed income pricing, and structured products not just textbook familiarity
3. Proficiency in Excel (advanced modelling), Bloomberg terminal familiarity a plus
4. Experience with or robust understanding of US bond markets, repo financing mechanics, and credit instruments
5. High accuracy under daily deadlines — this role has recurring deliverables every market day
6. Self-starter; principal will set direction but will not supervise execution

This is not an equity research or report-writing role. Candidates expecting sector coverage, client-facing work, or traditional asset management workflows will not find this a fit.
